A lovely place. Stroll 2nd street for some nice shopping and dining. If you got a wife sportin' a few extra pounds on her chassis they got a Chico's right on the corner. Walk into the neighborhood and take a look at some of the lovely homes. Steer clear if you're allergic to cats. Their all over the neighborhood and they're overly friendly. Speaking of overly friendly cats, keep in mind that the Belmont Shore beach parking lot is a pick up spot for gay fellas. I found out the hard way.

  • Circle Drive-In Theatre (site), phiz wrote 19 years ago:
Well, it wasn’t the largest drive-in but, plenty big nonetheless. Located at 1633 Ximeno Long Beach, CA 90804, the 15 acre property was purchased for $300,000 by the Eagle Theater Corp. Despite the rain on April 4, 1951, opening night was a huge success. There were parking spaces for 1000 cars. Later managed by Pacific Theaters, the Circle Theater closed on January 31, 1985. ~phiz
