I was treated there after I was involved in a drive by shooting in 1994. I also lost a baby there at 21 weeks. It is a fantastic hospital, with excellent, caring staff.

Perhaps in the 60s there were still fixer uppers but Naples has changed dramatically since then. Any "fixer-upper" on Naples would probably be on the market for a half a million plus.

Actually the Los Angeles River is a natural river that was channelized into its current cement-bottomed state by the Army Corps of Engineers in the 1930s.

This parking area is actaully the long-term remote parking lot for Long Beach Airport. The Vets Stadium parking is directly south and east of the football field (green field surrounded by orangish dirt track to the NE of the long-term parking lot).

The Verizon Switching Station is actually located between Vetran's Stadium and the LBCC parking lot. It is the white building just north of the baseball diamond that is casting a shadow on the empty parking lot.
