The Garden on the north side is below Street Level.
  • Anna R. Brown Residence, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
Added a picture for you. The place next door to the north is another historic place I've long forgotten
  • American Hotel, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
It is now the only Hotel left standing on Broadway from before 1970's

  • Rainbow Lagoon Park, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
Excellent place to relax. I've been coming here since before the construction of the Shoreline Marina, and the Hyatt Regency. It gets wild here during Grand Prix Week.
  • Remote Parking Lot D, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
Great place to watch the Fireworks show at Vet's Stadium every July 4th.
  • Jergins Tunnel, south entrance, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
Uploaded some pictures, finally, from the Public Opening. Now if we can just find out something about the east end of seaside way and where that tunnel went to and if it did go all the way up to Broadway and East Alta Way

According to this entry for the Film, "Mad Mad ... World", ... "The Arcade under Ocean Boulevard near Pine Avenue also is part of the scene." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Its_a_mad_mad_mad_world I don't know about that but I did play arcade games next door in the southern half of Ocean Center Building in the Tunnel that runs right through the building and is the Pine Avenue entrance for The Pike.
  • Golden House, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
The newly uploaded photo clearly shows The Golden House no longer exists at this location. The Flossie Lewis House is the White House in background.
  • Lincoln Park, DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
I've heard references to this in 1986 as being Needle Park.
  • Farmers & Merchants Bank Tower , DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
Radio Station KNAC was located on the top floor of the tower. I interned there in 1977. The station itself is of historical note. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KNAC The surrounding views from atop the tower were fantastic. The inside of the bank is breath-taking and when I find my pictures of it, I'll put them up.
  • Former Acres of Books, desu wrote 17 years ago:
    Shame on you.
  • Farmers & Merchants Bank Tower , desu wrote 17 years ago:
This is a tag for the tower, not the tower + bank. The bank is not a historic landmark.
  • Farmers & Merchants Bank Tower , DanielWilliams wrote 17 years ago:
This is also the location of radio station KNAC
